"Stepping it up in an Opti"

Sailors will expand on their knowledge of Optimist dinghy handling techniques.  Some prior sailing experience is required.  The student is expected to be able to rig and sail an Opti without an instructor in the boat and control the boat in low wind with some confidence.  They will be able to name  most parts of the boat and have a good understanding of the function of each part.    Terminology and boat handling is emphasized.
